We just had dinner here at Jay-j's Inasal in Metrowalk, Ortigas. We usually head out around this area after work since this is just walking distance from our office. This is also my third time trying out this particular resto.
What ticked me off:
1. The waiter gave two menus. There were five of us. I asked for an extra so we can all order together. He said "Sir hintayin nyo nalang (sir just wait for it)", referring to the menu my friend is looking at.
2. Five of us ordered separate meals. Two arrived after a while. The next three arrived after a long wait. My order (chicken inasal, pecho [breast]) was not even cooked thoroughly, with the wing part very rubbery.
3. 30 pesos for one order of plain rice.
4. Very poor service. To think it was Monday night where there are several tables occupied, it took us hailing and asking 4 waiters for our extra rice to come.
5. Expensive compared to Mang Inasal and Chic-boy, both offering unlimited rice.
I'll infiltrate the alleys of Binondo, the streets of Manila, the malls of Makati --- I'll travel on road trips and getaways if i must to give you the best "Foodom" has to offer!
Welcome to Manila Food Finds!
This blog was made to cater to the basic need of human beings.
Eating - which we all love to do!
There are hundreds of food establishments up and about that serves fine meals. But what happens if you get tired of the same old taste you eat day in and day out?
Just like the rest of you, I'm looking for new and exciting places to eat and have some fun at the same time, which is why this blog was created - to share with you the adventures (and hassles) that a food lover has to endure in search of a good find.
We're not picky eaters and we'll try everything and anything as long as it's edible!
