Welcome to Manila Food Finds!

This blog was made to cater to the basic need of human beings.

Eating - which we all love to do!

There are hundreds of food establishments up and about that serves fine meals. But what happens if you get tired of the same old taste you eat day in and day out?

Just like the rest of you, I'm looking for new and exciting places to eat and have some fun at the same time, which is why this blog was created - to share with you the adventures (and hassles) that a food lover has to endure in search of a good find.

We're not picky eaters and we'll try everything and anything as long as it's edible!

Late Night Snack @ Aling Lucy Panciteria

A food place open all day, all night serving your favorite short orders and after gimmick treats. Aling Lucy is conveniently located along Alabang-Zapote road (near RFC Las Pinas) for a quick access to satisfying your hunger. Goto, Arozcaldo, Tapsilog, Pares, different kinds of pansits and more!

This visit April had Tapsilog which is made up of marinated beef strips, fried rice and fried egg. The tapa they serve here is notably tender and juicy even on the inside. Look at the proportion of the rice and the tapa they're almost the same! Dip it in spiced vinegar for that wonderful unique flavor you can only get from tapa.

I opted for another special which is the Pancit Malabon. It's hard to describe the taste of this dish for it's a mix of different flavors. I'd say its pancit palabok on steroids. Haha. The pancit contains pork and chicken bits, ground chicharon and sliced egg as its toppings. The pancit is cooked just right but it's sauce is too runny for me though. I don't know if its supposed to be like that, still delish nonetheless.

A cheap quick treat for that hungry tummy - anytime!

Kung Goto dito, try mo Bondat's. If you know Puhnene... it's just across. Bondat's is better...hehe.

Lalo na pag Christmas season, more than 2 hours ang waiting time!
pero pag regular days naman ok pa rin talaga si Aling Lucy :)
